Maryann is a Private Care Management Consultant with more than 20 years experience in working with older adults and those with developmental disabilities. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. In addition to education and formal training, Maryann had the personal experience of being the caregiver for her mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Dealing with the many emotions, physical strain and stress pushed her to seek help - without guilt.

People with developmental disabilities have very special needs. Maryann worked for many years with the Regional Center of Orange County. Among her many accomplishments, she spearheaded the establishment of the first independent living program for the developmentally disabled adults in the State of California.

As an active member the community, Maryann serves as a board member of Women –Sage, a non-profit organization serving middle-aged and older women. She is also member of Hoag Hospital 552 Club, Planned Giving Round Table and the Elder Law, Trusts and Estate Planning sections of the Orange County Bar Association.
